The Festivals:

Festival of the Weeping Bush – once a year the luck bush in the central garden has water pour from it. People draw lots to drink a bowl of water collected from the bush as it ensures excellent luck for the following year. The poor become rich etc. Festival ends when all the public fountains blast water high into the sky for half a day.

The Levels:

The Spires: The top level and the  most densely populated. The major houses each have a tall tower on this level and there are latticed walk ways between the towers and raised gardens. 70% of the The Spires population is eleven, with Humans centered around the tower of the watcher with the small trade district behind it for the very rare trader from the outside world. There is no truly wild space on the The Spires, although there are several gardens done in a wilderness theme.

The Right Hand: The second level is not as densely populated as The Spires but it has large farms and workshops clustered around the level lifts. This level is mostly elves with humans mostly in workshops or on the watchers.

The Left Hand: The third level has a very high ceiling and an artificial climate that does not match the upper spires, it has a winter which the upper levels do not. It is mostly farms, but it is also the first level with undeveloped areas that are not patrolled by the watchers and can be dangerous.

The Zoo: Called The Zoo as an insult by the elves the fourth level is the most human of the heavily populated levels. Humans have two large settlements, both by the major lifts and numerous small settlements across the level. Elven settlements are limited to monasteries or artists communes. Travel along the roads between settlements is considered safe and truly dangerous creatures are rare on The Zoo, but away from settlements it can be dangerous level with watcher patrols rarely leaving the settlements.

The Rustic: The fifth level is sparsely settled and is safe only at the settlements near the lifts. The climate controls do not work well and powerful storms are not uncommon and can hit without warning. Watchers only patrol the area immediately around the lifts and reserve the right to stop anyone from coming or going outside the lift area. The level has many ruined settlements and is notorious as the level that bandits or rebels flee to. Stories of dangerous beasts and deranged city servants are common on the Rustic. This level is as deep as the lifts work, going below to the Darkhold requires using old service ramps around the dead lift shafts.

The DarkHold: The last open level no artificial sun in the ceiling so it is quite dark in the middle during the day or everywhere during the night. There are three settlements of watchers spaced out along the wall to watch the jungle below, these are regarded as hard service as the patrols along the walls have to be careful of danger from the jungle outside and from the ruins in the middle of the level as well. The city barely has any functioning elements on this level and in the middle the ruins are filled with dangerous creatures. Even bandits are rare down this low and only the house exploration parties are allowed on the Darkhold or below.

HTML and Textile To style things how you want, we use a simple formatting language called Textile. Textile is easy to learn and simultaneously allows for lots of customization.
